WhatsApp Payments System To Roll Out Very Soon: Here’s Everything You Need to Know

There were speculations earlier that WhatsApp has been secretly working on integrating UPI payments feature within its app. Today, a beta version of the chat app – 2.17.295 – have been spotted featuring the UPI payments option. Going by the reports, the feature is in the works and still in the process of being perfected. With this feature, you would be able to send money to your friends, family, or any of your contacts with just a few taps on your Android or iOS smartphone. However, leaked screenshots of the beta version with this option mention that the users will have to accept WhatsApp Payments’ Privacy Policy and Terms before proceeding to access the feature.
