WhatsApp to give users 5-minute window to recall messages sent by mistake

Next time you send a message intended for your girlfriend mistakenly to someone else on WhatsApp, just chill. You may have soon a five-minute window to revoke such misdirected messages. According to WABetaInfo, a fan site that tests new WhatsApp features early, the mobile messaging platform has moved closer towards introducing a 'Recall' feature.      Recall your text With this feature, the users will be able to recall or unsend texts, images, videos, GIFs, documents, quoted messages and even status replies within a five-minute window,  The Independent  reported. In the next update The messaging app will enable 'Recall' in version "2.17.30+" of the app. The current version of WhatsApp is 2.17.190. The users will be able to edit only recent messages and not the old ones.

Nokia is back with 3 beautiful Android phones in India

HMD Global on Tuesday unveiled the much-awaited  Nokia 6 ,  Nokia 5 , and  Nokia 3  Android phones in India. The three smartphones mark the re-entry of the Nokia smartphones in the country, and HMD Global has announced that all Nokia phones sold in India will be manufactured domestically. Notably, the company is selling Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 offline, while the Nokia 6 will be sold exclusively via Amazon India. All three Nokia smartphones are 4G VoLTE-enabled, and run stock Android Nougat software, with regular updates promised by  HMD Global . From June 30 instant messaging app WhatsApp will no longer support a few phones. So if you are still operating on one of these, it is high time you got another phone. WhatsApp has said that it will stop supporting the following platforms: BlackBerryOS BlackBerry 10 Nokia S40 Nokia Symbian S60 Explaining the reason, WhatsApp in its support page said, “These platforms don't offer the kind of capabilities we need to expand our app's features in the future. If you use one of these affected mobile devices, we recommend upgrading to a newer OS version, or to a newer Android running OS 2.3.3+, iPhone running iOS 7+, or Windows Phone 8+ so that you can continue using WhatsApp.” “Once you have one of these devices, simply install WhatsApp and verify your phone number on the new device,” it added. Android O is officially 8.0.0

Google released the  first Android O Developer Preview (AODP) in march. And second (AODP2) during the Google IO developer conference, which was the first preview build to be  available through the Android Beta program . Today AODP3 has been released. This comes with the final O APIs, so third party developers can pretty much start working on finalizing their apps for the next iteration of Android. Hundreds of bug fixes and optimizations are included in the latest AODP too. Like previous releases, it can be installed only on the  Google Pixel ,  Pixel XL ,  Pixel C ,  LG Nexus 5X ,  Huawei Nexus 6P , and  Asus Nexus Player . If you have a device enrolled in the Android Beta program you'll get an update to the new build soon.
